ASOS’ New Bridal Line

Weddings can be expensive, but you don’t always have to blow your budget in order to look gorgeous walking down the aisle. With this said, ASOS has created a collection of white bridal gowns for the woman with a tight budget for her big day. The new bridal collection is set to launch in March of 2016 and will include 18 pieces starting at £60 ($91) for a tulle skirt and peaking at £250 ($380) for a dress.

Many of the bridal dresses in this collection are more on the casual side, with simple shapes. Long, Grecian dresses are beautiful, and would look great floating down the aisle, but the overall silhouette could just as easily have been printed in another fabric and color to work as a spring/summer dress. This same concept goes for the strappy high-low dress.

In a similar fashion, the short wedding dresses with lace sleeves seem just as likely to be for the aisle as they would for a student’s winter formal. Granted, the dress would be equally stunning on both platforms. There’s a lot of draping and lace in the collection, which are classic elements for bridalwear, but in this collection it has been executed in an untraditional way.

And the best part? There is something for everyone. Whether you’re a classic sort of bride looking for an Audrey Hepburn-inspired number, a boho gal looking for something Free People-esque or a lady in search of a low-key ensemble to match the vibe of your civil ceremony, you’re bound to find a dress that matches your personality.
