YSL Fusion Ink Foundation – Beauty Review

Beauty reviewFinding the right skin foundation can be one of several problems a woman might encounter. I have been using the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup SPF 15 (Light to Medium) for about a year now and have recently found it to be rather cakey and heavy on the skin, even with a good primer.  After reading reviews online about popular foundations, I decided to go to Saks Fifth Avenue to sample the YSL Fusion Ink Foundation. This is my review on it:

1. Lightweight and Clean Finish

The foundation has a wonderful texture — very lightweight and silky when applied. And a little goes a long way! The finish is rather impressive; it blends well with the skin and leaves a slight glow. For those with oilier complexions, it leaves a matte finish that doesn’t look powdery at all. I like it because it makes my skin look clean without that overly made-up look many foundations with full coverage have.

2. Medium to Full Coverage

This particular foundation provides excellent coverage – medium to full. It is definitely targeted at those who want coverage and staying power from their foundation, as it does indeed last a full day on the face.

The YSL Fusion Ink Foundation is a foundation that I would definitely recommend using, especially to those looking for a smooth finish and a lightweight feel, with an entire day’s coverage. It can be found in many departmental stores like Nordstrom or Saks Fifth Avenue. The foundation costs approximately $60 , but it’s definitely worth getting!
